When do you make time to write family stories?

Back when I started, as often as not, I was on a plane. Tray tables down. Notebook out. I traveled a lot for work. We didn’t have Zoom yet. We didn’t have laptops. We couldn’t dictate into our phones while out for a walk. But…stories still happened!

Annette and her family hold write-ins (love that). She also has a book with tips: How to Write Compelling Stories from Family History. (Bought it but haven’t actually read it yet. I’ll report back.)
