a lot of people probably need to hear this, even if they’re not ready for it: if you believe casteism doesn’t exist in india, that belief likely comes from a place of privilege. and before you jump onto social media with half-formed opinions, take the time to learn, read and listen. spend a week in a village, not as a visitor, but as someone who actually talks to people, sits with them, understands their lives.
