i know what’s going to kill me: learning german.

i hate that i decided to learn it. i really thought i was doing something bold, something impressive. turns out i just signed myself up to feel like the dumbest person alive.

like i genuinely feel like a kid again, the kind that just sits there and starts crying because nothing makes sense and everyone else seems to get it. and the worst part is knowing it’s irrational, knowing it’s “just a language,” and still feeling completely overwhelmed anyway.
