Things I want from a book review:

— A brief description of the book’s plot (if a novel) or central argument (if nonfiction)

— Three sentences of writing from the book (so I can see if it’s good)

— A sense of whether you, the book reviewer, enjoyed reading the book and would recommend it to me, the reader of this book review.
