As an Audrey Hepburn fan, I want more than just a movie about the making of Breakfast at Tiffany’s. It’s a great film, but her life was so much more.
She dreamed of becoming a prima ballerina, but because of World War II and Nazi occupation in Netherlands she suffered severe malnutrition. She even danced in small gatherings just to survive, and in the end, she wasn’t physically strong enough to pursue her dream.
She was the muse of Hubert de Givenchy, who even created a perfume just for her L’Interdit. She was known for her grace, elegance, and beauty, but she was also deeply compassionate, dedicating part of her life to humanitarian work as a UNICEF ambassador.
Breakfast at Tiffany’s is a great movie but it doesn’t even begin to capture Audrey’s true essence.
