The ultimate productivity hack is to schedule unproductive time:

Time to have a shower in silence

Time to go for a walk without listening to a podcast or music

Time to sit on a bench with the sole goal of daydreaming

And I’m going to say it - time to scroll on TikTok if that’s what you feel like doing for the next five minutes before your meeting

I’m convinced we’re so obsessed with productivity that we’re burning ourselves out just by thinking about it. I’m most productive when I give myself a break from feeling like I need to do everything all at once.

Not every spare minute needs to be spent habit stacking, and when you actually create space for downtime, your dedicated work time starts to get a lot more productive.
