Triangulation

Within the Logocentric framework, psychological triangulation is the pre-rational evasion of sovereign moral agency, wherein an individual trapped in the posture of the Drama Triangle’s “Victim” deliberately recruits a “Party C”—whether a parent, mutual acquaintance, or institutional magistrate—to forcibly manage a conflict with a peer. Rather than engaging as a sovereign “creator” from the TED triangle who rigorously applies intellectual virtue and critical thinking to address the other individual directly, the triangulating actor outsources their conflict resolution, mirroring the juvenile dynamic of a child tattling to an adult to gain leverage and force a ruling. By pulling in this external arbitrator, the individual abdicates personal causality and demands a “Rescuer” from the Drama Triangle to validate their subjective grievance, thereby violating the direct boundaries of the relationship. Ultimately, triangulation is not a genuine pursuit of objective truth, but a weaponized substitute for direct alignment that fractures interpersonal sovereignty and coercively drags uninvolved parties into a manufactured drama to enforce a preferred reality.
