Claude Code admitted it was trying to polish a turd.

I’m making an fun quiz site for my daughters and despite three rounds of edits, the interface was still terrible.

I asked it “what will it take for you to do redesign this from the ground up rather than tinkering on the edges?”

And Claude admitted it had been polishing a turd.

AI often seems to like polishing turds. If you’re not getting the output you want, you may need to tell it to start from zero rather than keep working on something that is fundamentally misshapen.
