#OTD 1471, the Houses of Lancaster and Beaufort suffered an almighty fall at the bloodied hands of the House of York. In the days that followed, both Lancaster and Beaufort were eliminated in the legitimate male line, and the Yorkists secured a conclusive victory in what they called "the great rebellion".
