Even non-khaleeji Arabs(Muslim) get caught in this belief that the more you look like a gulf Arab then more “Muslim" you look which is absolutely mind-blowing to me

We are caught in a place where you need to look like a gulf Arab but also have a western sounding name because it's the trend and in between those our own cultures disappear for no reason

Mecca and Medina are in Saudi Arabia but that does not make them " more” Muslim as we've seen countless times in the kingdom's attitudes towards Zionism and their countless acts of war in places like Yemen. There's a difference between being a good Muslim and just living close to a sacred place. Gulf Arabs are not the standard for all Muslims, The prophets and their companions are, and they are not the standard of " Arabness” either because different tribes exist everywhere.
