I’m on board with it except for MLB — we already have one franchise (Rockies) who may be hopelessly doomed by the sport-warping effects of high altitude. (neilpaine.substack.com/…) Now we wanna add another one that’s another 2,000 feet (or basically ARI+ATL combined) higher above sea level than Coors Field???

Now for something totally different. Mexico City one of my favorite places. And it’s way overdue for an NFL, NBA or MLB franchise. Even if you account for its being considerably poorer than the US, it’s easily the largest economic market in North America without a Big 4 sports franchise.
