RIP Lenny Wilkens, who coached my hometown Atlanta Hawks throughout my childhood. This guy is very underrated — one of the NBA’s last player-coaches ever, he also won a championship with Seattle and led a couple of teams that knocked on the door but couldn’t get past MJ in the 80s Cavs and 90s Hawks. He was at one time the NBA’s all-time coaching wins leader, HOFer as both a player and coach… oh, and did I mention he was on the coaching staff for the literal Dream Team? What a career.
