Sam Darnold’s career is fascinating. The past two years have been good — and fairly consistent with each other as well, despite changing teams. They’re also consistent with his 6 games in Carolina at the tail end of the 2022 season. Meanwhile, outside of that sample, Darnold was consistently quite poor across three different teams (including, yes, the Jets — but also SF, where Kyle Shanahan usually makes every QB shine).
