It’s also been interesting how so many of the people dancing on LIV’s grave this week — and I really didn’t watch or care about LIV, tbh — are usually so vociferously pro-player in other sports’ labor conversations.

In many ways, LIV Golf will be viewed as an expensive failure; it garnered little in the way of viewership, lost tons of money, fractured the sport, and only ended up with 13 of the world’s top 100 players (per Data Golf rankings) primarily appearing in it.

And yet, LIV did also change golf forever — breaking the PGA Tour’s de facto monop…
