How anticipated of a prospect is Paul Skenes? His FIP in the minors (prior to his MLB debut) is the lowest of ANY starting pitcher ever taken 1st overall in the draft — Stephen Strasburg included.

(Strasburg faced older competition and had a somewhat comparable FIP, but still… anytime you’re in Strasburg’s tier as a prospect, that’s saying something.)
