Some trips are just departures and arrivals. Others are full-blown transformations.
Spent 10 days in Estonia recently—and honestly? I’m still processing the shift. From the rhythmic soul of the Jazzkaar festival and the haunting intensity of Anton Corbijn’s photography to the eerie, absolute silence of the Estonian wetlands. I even found myself crossing the sea to Helsinki for a day, just to see what the horizon looked like from the other side. Even had the privilege of sitting down with some of the most innovative minds in jazz, like Bill Frisell, Donny McCaslin, and David Helbock.
I’m documenting the whole journey over several articles at Vintage Cafe. Come take a walk through Tallinn with me.
