The practice for me each day is allowing myself to be exactly where I am, with whatever I’m feeling. Letting compassion move through my thoughts, soften my emotions, and gently hold it all.
Regulation isn’t the absence of discomfort - it’s the presence of connection and safety.
Safety is a felt sense… that something is with me. My body. My breath. A memory of care. A gentle touch 🙏
And from that place, I find the capacity to stay with what’s uncomfortable, rather than needing it to disappear.
