I’m sitting in on a big ISV’s AI agent call. It’s interesting to hear from one of their clients that they are not saving time with the current state of agentic AI implementations. Scale,… sure, but can’t you do that with workflow automation and existing tools? It is a real question.
It seems like the agentic AI deployments are marginal, narrow, and the benefit, not as great as tech CEO keynotes will suggest. It’s not a surprise that the air has largely come out of the enterprise agentic AI bubble for major ISVs.
Yes, these are the realities of agentic AI. Unlike AI, predictable. Look forward to 2026 as the year of agentic AI unlearning.
