I believe self-belief-without-action is as dangerous as rewards without effort.
But there’s a remedy.
Drop blind belief.
Collect evidence instead.
Don’t lie to yourself.
Be agnostic in your abilities until you’re able to experiment.
There is a humble freedom in saying, “I’m just experimenting, let’s see what happens.”
This is your time to be an amateur, to ask the obvious questions, to mess up, to fail badly, and to try again… this time, better.
