The harder I tried to heal myself, the more damaged I became.

Turns out, I was making it worse.

I thought healing meant becoming someone better.

Someone who never felt angry or afraid.

Someone who had transcended all struggle.

I read every book. Attended the retreats. Practiced all the techniques.

And I was still broken.

Then something shifted during my time in the monastery.

I realized healing wasn't about becoming someone new.

It was about finally meeting the person I'd been running from all along.

The one with flaws and fears.

The one who sometimes felt lost.

The one who needed compassion most.

True transformation doesn't happen when you perfect yourself.

It happens when you stop abandoning yourself.

You don't need to become someone else to find peace.

You just need to stop leaving yourself behind in the search for it.

This is the paradox:

The moment you accept yourself as you are, the healing you've been seeking finally begins.
