The small steps matter.

Beginner level players tend to celebrate the 100-point milestones and run out of occasions after a while. Ever since I hit 1800 blitz for the first time three or so years ago on chess.com I’ve felt the weight of every rating point. So here’s a new high for me: 1957. Considering that the previous peak was only five months ago, I’m pleased to have made another small step forward.
