🫀 The Developing Heart

This incredible zebrafish video reveals a beating heart connected to a growing vascular system, captured using high-speed 4D imaging. Researchers can even observe heart valves opening and closing in real time.

By visualizing both structure and motion simultaneously, scientists are gaining new insights into how the cardiovascular system forms and functions during development.
