Last night was my book launch!

It was truly one of the best nights of my life. The room was packed with 150 people. It was filled with so many people I love and that I have explored this city with.

And my best friend, Abi Inman, interviewed me. She did such an amazing job that my publisher said they might want her to interview other authors for future book talks!

My secret trick to stay calm was that I mentally told myself it was like we were doing a podcast together. And it worked! People said the conversation was so dynamic, thoughtful, and funny. One of my friends said it was the best book launch event she's ever been to.

It definitely helped that it was such a love-filled room.

Ok, I'm going to go take a nap now 😅
