L.A. folks — I’m so proud of this little book kickoff we’re doing in L.A. on May 26. My friend Eloy Aluri, the legendary chef from Hermosillo who taught me how to make carne asada is flying up FROM HERMOSILLO to make the best carne asada in the world, in a parking lot in Van Nuys, with wine from Scribe, beer from Coronado, and cans of Spindrift for all.
