“This week’s National Security Strategy released by the Trump administration basically codified the decades of criminal behavior and corruption by Donald into the United States’ global outlook regarding foreign policy. I have revisited these specific incidents because I believe his past actions and practices can be superimposed on his current ‘governing style’ and may provide some insight into where this is all heading.

It essentially boils down to their proclamation that there are no ‘bad actors’ on the planet if there’s a buck to be made by the Trump Organization.

Our standing as the world’s foremost proponent of democracy and freedom is being jettisoned in favor of sucking up to despots and embracing the oil rich Gulf States; we now regard their human rights abuses and authoritarian ways as none of our business.

All while turning our back on our democratic allies in Europe and NATO itself. The White House strategy document has several passages that match perfectly with Putin’s talking points and imperialistic and brutal agenda. It also seeks to bolster the same far right parties in western democracies that Putin has been backing for decades.

America’s vast power is now in service of making money for a select few. You may be tempted to argue that this has always been the case but we have never approached anything like what we are dealing with now.

Trump is attempting to aim our ship of state only at interests that serve his ego and avarice. Including assisting in Russia’s goal of a continental land grab. He is like a pirate looking to pillage and plunder all that he can before he is stopped; at this point he knows his only real guardrails are perhaps going to be delivered by nature itself.”
