“Just this week, that same inglorious POTUS allowed the civilian head of the world’s most powerful military, the oily and execrable Sec Def Hegseth (a sexual predator and blackout drinker in his Fox News talk show host days) to purge from our armed services the very leadership that had the temerity to stand up to his canceling of well-earned promotions of outstanding Black and women officers in our army and his escalating Christofascist-themed Iran war misadventures.

Which may soon culminate in deploying ground troops into Iran in an effort to secure the Strait of Hormuz. Not to mention Hegseth’s interceding on behalf of an aircrew suspension and Army investigation into the misuse of Blackhawk helicopters last weekend to intimidate ‘No Kings Day’ protestors in Nashville by flying low over the demonstrations, and performing a fly over at Kid Rock’s Tennessee mansion (which is bizarrely a replica of the White House) - for which the pilots will now face no consequence.

If you look at Pete Hegseth’s firing of our military’s senior officers through the lens of alcoholic resentment you will have a clearer picture of what is happening to our armed forces. When the dry drunk, sexual predator was still a frequent blackout-binge drinker, he wrote in his most recent book about how the army ‘spit him out’ for being an extremist. The Secretary of War is now taking his revenge in his own way. His recent decision to allow soldiers to open carry personal weapons on U.S. military bases will surely lead to violence and tragedy.

We are no longer a country with serious leadership, but we damn sure are a surreal one. And an increasingly dangerous impediment to the peace and stability, not to mention the environmental health, of the rest of the planet.

The sooner our remaining allies call us out for what we have become, and act accordingly, i.e. travel boycotts to the U.S. portions of this summer’s World Cup and economic embargoes, the sooner we may be able to wake up our fellow Americans who are sleep walking into an autocracy.”
