It doesn’t get much better than this.

In-house movements, tasteful yet modern case sizing, subtle details, and precise finishing.

Looks like Universal Genève really listened to vintage collectors when planning their re-launch. To me, they feel distinct enough from their vintage counterparts to attract some new customers.

The only big IF? Will their price point be too high for the average vintage enthusiast? I bought a Polerouter for $1,200 about 7 years back, and you can pick up a nice vintage example for about $3,000 today. But, the 2026 Polerouter will run you over $17,000 new.

The Compax - starting at $20k

The Disco Volante - starting at over $30k, with the rose gold model costing over $55,000.

A collection targeted at vintage collectors is going to have to compete with the vintage market. For 17k, would I rather a new Polerouter, or a matte dial 5512 Rolex Submariner?

For 55k would I rather a new Disco Volante, or a Patek Philippe 5140 Perpetual Calendar?

I think they did a great job on this relaunch, but will it be enough to draw vintage collectors away from the value proposition of the vintage market? Time will tell.
