Every week, I sit down to write a Substack essay, and I never really know how it will land. I write what interests me, and if people feel moved by it, I am over the moon. Comments like Tina’s mean more to me than numbers, leaderboards and statistics. Substack is not just a place for writers to write, it is a place for readers to read, and thus a community is born.
