This quote was posted to Facebook by a friend of a friend who lives in Puerto Vallarta. They say that some of the images showing destruction in that community are actually faked (I assume using AI). It’s an incredible assertion (one that, as far as I can tell, not a single American news source has picked up on!) and helps to demonstrate how the narrative that Mexico is so dangerous is, as always, not entirely based in reality.
