knowing that substack writers who make tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars a year (if not more!!), or have strong ties to families with even larger hoards of wealth, will always be able to convince more of you that what they want is better, more important, more compelling, than what our Black unhoused asses have to say - even with our privileges of being able to speak “social justice” & “leftist” language, of having not always been houseless - is infuriating & will continue to be infuriating. & that rage is uncomfortable for many people. & for many people at many times, discomfort is a greater sin than injustice. & so nothing is over. everything continues.
