Make money doing the work you believe in

RIP, David Wilcock 🙏

I just saw a figure in the "truth movement" trashing DW and I dropped a quick comment:

I think he clearly had some major unresolved issues and probably a deep-seated need to feel special (hence, he always positioned himself as exactly that). Based on the recent photo of him I just saw he was clearly in a decline and spiralling.

Bernard Guenther just gave a rundown of some of the nonsense David had been promoting and his many failed predictions (some of which I wasn't aware of as I hadn't followed his output for quite some time).

There is a fantasy-prone personality type with delusions of grandeur which Wilcock epitomised, IMHO. It's VERY common in the UFO/disclosure scene. I have had unpleasant interactions with some myself. I don't think it was malice (the wrong predictions and other silliness he promoted), just him becoming increasingly divorced from reality.

I read his Convergence trilogy many years ago while researching my first book (published 2012), and the science and other data he had collated and synthesised was quite impressive and useful to me (I did not buy the Ascension ideas, or the other ungrounded material).

After that he became increasingly caught up in the UFO scene and "White Hats" and "imminent disclosure" (and "Blue Chickens") narratives and become correspondingly less useful. Haven't paid him any real attention for years. It's sad to see someone go out like that, as a husk of their former more grounded, intelligent selves.

Addendum: I hope that David receives the stabilisation and guidance his recent condition seems to suggest he may need post-mortem. Suicide in a disorganised and dis-integrated state is not to be taken lightly. 🙏
