Night’s Arpeggio

Wrapped beneath the stars tonight

you are nature’s symphony

the bow across my strings

Dipping into the tension,

masterful conductor,

you draw out an arpeggio

Just so, just there

Voices lifting to the air

our song

A crescendo aching along

You break the chord

and set the notes free

under a wide open sky
