My Sagittarius 5th house is a rave, preferably with house music, booming bass, and a mesmerizing light show. A place where no one knows my name and I’m free to shake my ass. The dance floor is my temple where I release years of repressed emotions (this is my somatic therapy).

In my 30s, my inner rave girl needs one EDM show per year or she loses it. November came around, and I thought it wasn’t going to happen. Then Fred Again announced a surprise show in Chicago and my husband and I said WE’RE THERE.

On November 21st as the Sun crept through the final degree of Scorpio, I ventured through the underworld. The crowd to get into the venue was so overwhelming I wanted to leave. But I could feel the bass pulsing through the concrete walls and knew I had to push through.

Just as the Sun entered Sagittarius, I made it into the concert hall and could finally breathe! Fred played for hours that night, and I danced and danced and danced. My hips loosened, and I felt free. Not only was it one of the best shows of my life, but it was the most cathartic experience of my year! Music is healing.
