She deleted a whole division responsible for investigating crypto fraud.

She fired 34 of 36 investigators looking into government fraud.

She illegally appointed Alina Habba to oversee thousands of criminal cases in New Jersey, potentially compromising the government’s ability to win convictions in all of them.

And of course, she illegally botched the release of the Epstein Files, then insulted members of Congress who were simply looking for an explanation.

But none of those were fireable offenses.

No, she was fired because Trump got back to the White House last night after a long day of being humiliated in the courts.

“Why don’t I ever win?” he surely cried into his pillow.

Then, like every mediocre man who ever existed, he converted his sorrow into rage, and found a scapegoat.

The attorney general who just couldn’t wage lawfare well enough.
