It is astonishing that they’re not even trying to hide the fascism. The hatred emanating from their corruption, mendacity and bigotry makes one shudder.

Pardoning traitors who committed sedition and treason is mere embroidery. Trump had, after all, cravenly commanded them to ‘stand back’ and ‘stand by,’ then summoning them on Jan. 6, 2021.

Trump will give his followers misogyny and racism but that does not pay for groceries, the reason that voters  gave for allegedly returning him to the office he defiled.

They don’t know, these poor, deluded hordes, that Trump will serve only the Bezos, Musks and Zuckerbergs because only they possess what he has hungered for all his life, money, and lots of it.

Technology and media, married to fascism, won’t save us.

The courts, what’s left of that battered branch of our democracy, will have to hold the line for now.

There’s no common sense or decency left to be had in the land.

Are Democrats up to the job of shielding us from fascism and tackling the challenges facing our nation?
