I would love to see Substack take 10 writers — let’s be 100% real, myself included lol— and give them the resources to take their publications from good to great. I love this platform and all the opportunities on here but I would love to see more of this mentorship for existing writers/publications that have been using Substack for years already.

Does this already exist? I don’t think so although if it does let me know. I dunno. Tbh I have been working on my own publication for 2 years now and am trying to develop it where I can, whilst also maintaining music/songwriting as my main output.

I have loved all the ways in which writers on here have created ways to collaborate and uplift each other, and I’ve benefitted so much from just yapping with people such as

, , , & everyone here on Notes.

This is a very rambling note and I am not sure what the general point of it is, but I think the general point of it is this:

  1. i want to lean into my newsletter more this year

  2. i would love to see behind the scenes at how substack supports chosen writers/podcasters/videomakers

  3. i want to do more fun stuff on substack!
