What do you write? I write fiction and poetry. I’m thinking about doing some personal essays in the future. Though I don’t know if this will detract from my creative writing.

Where are you from? England.

Favourite band/musician? Mac Miller. I am obsessed with this man’s music. No artist has ever connected with me like Mac has.

But I am obsessed with music in general and pretty much have it on all the time. So some honourable mentions.

Plan B, The Weeknd, Lana Del Rey, Elvis Presley, Marvin Gaye, Mura Masa, Billie Eilish, Billie Holiday, Disclosure, Eminem, Tupac, Ella Fitzgerald.

Favourite film? Possibly one of the toughest questions ever. I actually don’t think I have one, so I’ll do a top ten instead (I know I’m a coward).

The Godfather, La La Land, The Artist, The Nice Guys, Jurassic Park, Catch Me If You Can, Matchstick Men, Lars and the Real Girl, Chicken Run, Blood Diamond.

Favourite book/series? The Hustler by Walter Tevis, The Sharpe Series by Bernard Cornwell.

Favourite Show? Breaking Bad.

What are some of your other interests?

Piano/guitar, singing/rapping, drawing, long walks, watching video game playthroughs, working out, combat sports (especially muay thai), history, fashion.

One thing about you no one/few people know(s)?

I got electrocuted when I was seven and almost died.

Has anyone ever told you that something reminds them of you?

My best friend watched The Accountant with his girlfriend and throughout the whole film they were like, ‘It’s literally Olly.’ Probably because I’m a very particular clean freak.

Anything else you would like us to know about you?

I need to spend a lot of time by myself.
