Just learned that in 2001, the Houston Rockets became the first team in 18 years to sweep an entire division after they defeated the Atlanta Hawks on April 7 of that year.

The Rockets (led by Steve Francis, Cuttino Mobley, and an old Hakeem Olajuwon) won all 16 games against Central Division opponents that season.

But the crazy thing is they only won 45 games and didn’t make it to the playoffs.
