Trump is a stupid person, yet he seems unlikely to instruct Musk to unlawfully take user data from government servers, implement his surveillance software, and dismiss numerous federal employees in critical positions.

Alternatively, it’s possible that he is indeed that naive and did suggest such actions to Musk. This will come to light in courts.
