I have a day off work today and baby’s still sleeping.
I woke up remembering a thon on productive tasks I had in my mind.
They go from folding laundry, putting out laundry to dry out, making some muffins for breakfast instead of some basic cereal, listening to a podcast on nutrition, catching up on a masterclass from a lady that’s inspiring me to hope I could get out of the corporate treadmill one day, another course on learning how to optimize my notes and grow the community here to get my message across to as many parents who must feel in the same boat, or writing down and documenting how first weeks of nursery and going back to work are going.
I even thought about writing a justification note for why I’ve been so quiet lately as I had returned to work after maternity and prioritised other responsibilities in my life.
Instead I have done a nice face scrub and put on a mask.
I might even read a few pages until little one wake up.
How do you spend little time brackets for yourself when you get these precious moments as a parent of a little one?
