DJ Set (2024)

After reading pieces by Cecil Touchon about representing music through art, I created this collage.

In recent months, I’ve been listening to a lot of upbeat and dynamic electronic music—especially a range of house styles and drum & bass (harking back to my deep enjoyment of its rise in the early and mid 1990s).

I hope the piece represents the patterns, energy, and movements of the music. Especially through the many mixes I listen to from both today and yesteryear.
