I invite anyone to read my Tyranny of the Mean post and see if Bentham’s criticisms are valid or if he’s just upset someone called him out on abusing EV for the hundredth time.
I think I was pretty clear on the fallacy of using EV on a single trial with a low probability of infinite value. I don’t have much more to say here and happy to let our posts stand for themselves.

The problem is your post failed to engage with quite literally any of the arguments for thinking a low chance of infinite value beats guarantee of finite value, even ignoring those arguments in the post you purported to be replying to
