i could be wrong, but based on what i’m seeing, the future isn’t smarter agents everywhere
it’s ai-assisted macros
ai runs a workflow a few times, learns the path, extracts variables, handles edge cases, then graduates it into a deterministic macro
not sexy, but it gets sh*t done & cheap
that macro runs fast with zero model calls
when the ui changes or something breaks, ai steps back in, fixes it, and hands it back again
that just honestly makes more sense to me
everyone here is trying to automate real workflows, not chat
they don’t need more intelligence
they need repeatable execution without a bunch of sub-agents confusing each other.
this could let you run complex workflows on small local models (under 3b even), with rpa + ocr as a fallback layer when needed too
i’m starting to build this right now in the early early stages
i’ll be announcing the best things being built to run with openclaw and paid subs will get total lifetime access to use them as part of being here.

Ben Dickson any thoughts?
