I have a hypothesis that European men eliminated all of the women whose primary survival instincts were fight or flight during the Burning Times. This meant women whose instinct favored either freeze or appease were left alive to have daughters. Likewise, their daughters only survived to have daughters if said daughters’ instincts defaulted to freeze or appease. If anything were going to be transcribed across generations from lived traumatic experience gouged into epigenetic survival memory, it would have to be the Burning Times.
