In many teams, the Architecture Review is seen as a "final exam" where the Lead says yes or no. This is a mistake.
A true Tech Lead uses reviews as a facilitation tool, not a power trip. Your goal is to:
* Identify cross-team impacts: Will this "small change" in the monolith break the new microservices?
* Teach trade-off analysis: Don't just point out flaws. Ask: "If we choose this database now, how much will it cost us to migrate in 6 months?"
It’s not about being the smartest person in the room; it’s about making sure the room reaches the smartest decision.
