I also like the ICD-11 classification of ‘‘personality disorder’’ because it does not reify said disorder: even though it does not define it logically (because its definition implies that all mental disorders are actually personality disorders), it’s still more humane, scientific, and pragmatic than the DSM approach because, at the very least, it does not reify abstract latent entities (in this case, the idea of ‘‘personality functioning’’).
