So, many Argentine clubs have English-sounding names, so here’s the current table, if they were all in English (some can’t be translated, like family names)
*‘La Plata’ is the River Plate, but the root comes from when people thought there was loads of silver (Plata) there. ‘Argentina’ means ‘land of silver’.
