What I thought would be a bit of lighthearted fun to do is a very unofficial award for the best pieces I have read over the past year. “The Turner Award” (can’t call it the Turner Prize for obvious reasons!).

I have whittled down my reading to a shortlist of the 12 very best pieces I have read over the last year (from small-medium sized publications) The authors who have made the cut are: Caroline Ross Leon Ruth Gaskovski Mark Clavier Philosopher of the Oil Sands Griffin Gooch Brett Gallagher Javier Velazquez Elizabeth Oldfield Andrew Roycroft Matt Miller

Winners (top 5) will be announced in a special Gleanings From the Field on Over the Field in late October/Early November. And the top 3 will receive a handwritten certificate/letter from me.
