Magnitude 8.8 megaquake off the coast of Kamchatka Peninsula! Tsunami warnings are in place for the Hawaii Islands, Japan and the west coast of North America.

I had already predicted that the time period between July 24 and August 9 could bring one or even more than one big earthquakes and there could be a tsunami as well. July 28-30 was one critical subperiod within this period marked out by me. The Pacific Ring of Fire is where I had thought the earthquake most likely, and in East Asia at that.

Everything's happened exactly as predicted. Now let us look at the exact placement of the earthquake. However, the epicentre of the 8.8 quake is around 700 km away from the prediction line for July 31 to August 9 period, thus exceeding the usual 250 km range. (The quake has happened which is "a day early," and a day's margin is expected in my predictions.) I will need to investigate more why the exceeding of this range, because I like to be as precise as possible in my earthquake predictions work.
