When I began posting today’s beautiful things, I knew there would be days when I just couldn’t do it. Yesterday was one of those. Today might have been too, but that is a slippery slope. My heart is broken just like yours. And the fact that I am not surprised by any of this (he told us) does not make the breaking any less severe. But I also got to ride my new horse today, for the first time since he became mine. And my dear friend CMarie Fuhrman says we need our joy to fuel our endurance. And Óski brings me joy. So there is heartbreak and joy together today, as it has always been. And we’ve got to hold on.
